When winter takes hold of Mongolia, the world turns white and magical. You’ll drive your own well trained husky sledge through the silent forests, ride reindeer in the traditional way with Tsaatan women herders, and try your hand at fat-biking along icy rivers. You’ll stay in traditional gers (yurts) warmed by log burners alongside nomadic tribes, and eating authentic, home-cooked Mongolian dishes.

This level suits participants with a good general fitness who are comfortable staying active across several days.
7–8: Advanced
Expect mostly active days with sustained movement and elevation gain, across a varied programme of activities. Days are structured to balance physical effort with recovery time and cultural experiences. This level suits fit, well-prepared participants who are comfortable maintaining a steady pace over consecutive days and enjoy challenging.
9–10: Skilled
Designed for physically fit women, who already enjoy a specific activity (for example cycling, ski touring or trail running) as previous experience in the core activity is essential. No expedition conditions or extreme environments. These journeys prioritise sustained movement and endurance while remaining fully supported and culturally grounded.
